A silly miracle
Tänk på det här:
Du är en PÄRLA.
En MYCKET DYRBAR pärla t.o.m.
Gud gick och sålde allt Han ägde för å köpa dig -
Snacka om huvudlös shopping!!
And in English...
You are a PEARL.
A VERY PRECIOUS pearl as a matter of fact.
God sold everything He had just to be able to buy you (Matt. 13:45-46.)
Seems like God isn't a very thoughtful shopper to me!
Which is good cause it means I'm becoming more like Him in that respect as well ;)
He spoke to me about it this morning. Had had 2 less good days since I came back from England and felt not exactly worthless but a bit less fantastic than I did while in the UK. So I approached Daddy to speak about it and suddenly I came to think about that passage. And while I was thinking about it and looking it up and drinking my tea there was a pearl in my lap. A plastic one, but still. A pink one, but still. It was from a bracelet I broke in a car in England and it didn't matter much to me even though it's always just a little bit frustrating when your things get destroyed. But here is the evidence that even the smallest disasters may happen for a reason. I have no idea how that pearl found its way to my bosom this morning but it cheered me up! I think I'm even gonna get some school work done today!

In the beginning...
...there was agony over what to write my academic essay on. What usually happens when you're supposed to do school work is that you come up with a million things you would rather do than try to convince yourself that you're interested enough in some current topic to at least make it appear as if you're engaging yourself intellectually by presenting it and creating a discussion around it. A discussion you will spend hours on. A discussion a very small number of people (usually restricted to your supervising professor) will ever know of, let alone read.
I am interested in my topic, I really am.
...I am.
It deals with up-to-date methods of reaching the young generation of Britain and Scandinavia with Good News.
I just thought tonight would be the perfect night to try blogging instead. It's almost as interesting a project. My creative ambitions will probably be limited by my computer skills but it doesn't matter. Tonight, the sing star has appeared. I've only left to see if more people will know of it than of my brilliant essay, which still amounts up to some 400 words at the moment, so I'm not lagging that far behind...
